Big news from autumn 2025
New Document Centre – one place for everything
The Document Centre, launched this autumn, gives sports clubs, festival organisers and associations a secure and structured way to store and share documents. Whether it is contracts, guidelines, volunteer instructions, safety plans or board documents, everything is gathered in one place – and can be linked directly to groups, projects or events.
Integrations with more website solutions
An important milestone in 2025 is that Rubic is no longer tied to one type of website or publishing platform.
We have developed several integrations that make Rubic website-independent.
This means that clubs and associations:
- can choose the website solution they want
- can easily display activities, registrations and groups directly on their own site
- avoid technical limitations or expensive custom solutions
This makes Rubic more flexible and scalable than ever before.
Upgraded expenses feature
The new expenses solution provides a far more intuitive workflow. With simpler registration, quick receipt uploads and clear approval, this is a feature that saves both time and frustration.
Coupons and discounts – a new tool for sales and activity
Sport, festivals and associations all have a growing need to offer discounts and promotions. The new coupon module makes it easy to provide member benefits, create engagement and manage pricing strategy professionally.
Improvements in Rubic Connect
Connect has become both faster and more user-friendly, with improved message flow, better push notifications and a clearer structure. This makes it easier for coaches, association administrators, volunteer coordinators and event teams to keep in touch with members, participants and volunteers.

Coming before Christmas and in early 2026
New group view – launching December 2025
The new group view makes it considerably easier to navigate between teams, groups, volunteers, officials and roles. The new structure also lays the foundation for next year's major upgrade of the membership module. Version 1 arrives in December, with further development in January 2026.
Rubic Event – launching January 2026
In January we are launching Rubic Event, our new generation of registration and event management.
This will be a complete solution for:
- activities and courses
- competitions and tournaments
- festivals and large events
- volunteers, accreditation and officials
- payments, coupons and ticketing logic
Rubic Event replaces the current registration solution and provides a much more modern and flexible experience for both event organisers and participants. The registration flow has been completely rebuilt, with a better mobile experience, clearer steps, smarter validation and support for more options. Perfect for everything from activities and gatherings to larger festival programmes
New membership module – launching in 2026
Later in 2026 we are launching a completely new membership solution built on modern technology. It brings a new structure for families, smooth handling of roles, stronger reports and considerably more efficient administration.
