Founded in 2014 – part of ECIT since 2023
Rubic was founded in 2014 and acquired by ECIT in 2023. ECIT is a Nordic accounting and IT group with 3,500 colleagues in 11 countries. That means we are not a start-up experiment that might disappear — and that the accounting service is backed by state-authorised accountants supervised by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet).

How much does Rubic cost?
The price depends on segment and number of members. Rubic Sport starts from NOK 600/month, Medlem from NOK 700/month and Arrangør from NOK 550/month.
How long does it take to get started?
We do most of the migration work for you. You provide the member data, we set up the system, and you get training before you start using it.
Can we switch from another system?
Yes. We import from most systems — an adviser moves members, payments and history for you.
Where is the data stored?
In Microsoft Azure's data centres in Norway, with encrypted transfer and a data processing agreement.
Is there a difference between Rubic for sports clubs and for associations?
Same platform, different configuration. Sports clubs get FIKS integration and a match calendar. Associations get functionality geared towards the board and members. Both get accounting, payments and communication.
