Summer is over, and with it the Norwegian festival summer is drawing to a close. For Rubic, this summer has been something quite special – we have completed our first full season together with two of the country's biggest and most iconic festivals: Palmesus and Øyafestivalen .
From idea to reality
A little over a year ago, we entered into a close partnership with Palmesus and Øya with one clear goal: to build an event organiser system tailored to the unique needs of festivals. We wanted to listen to the organisers, learn from those with the experience – and develop solutions that truly work in practice.
Lisa-Marie Hovland, Head of Customer Success at Rubic, says:
– It is great fun to see how the systems perform at such large events. We have built stable and reliable solutions that last the distance, both before and during the event. Not least, we have put a lot of useful functionality in place. Being there builds confidence
This summer, Rubic has been physically present at both Palmesus and Øya to provide immediate support wherever it was needed. This has been very well received by both volunteers and the administration.
– Having the expertise physically on site gives a real sense of security, several of the festivals have told us.
The user experience – straight from the field
Kathrine, head of volunteer check-in at Øyafestivalen, shares her experiences:
– I was very nervous about how it would go, but it has gone really well. The volunteers find Rubic intuitive and easy to use. We have volunteers who have been with us for many years, and we have only had positive feedback. We are relaxed and can see that things are working really well, so we are looking forward to the next rush.
