All of us at Rubic would like to thank you all for an exciting and eventful year. Together we have taken big steps towards making everyday life simpler and more efficient for associations, sports clubs and event organisers all over Norway.
The transition to Rubic Connect This year we took a big step forward by phasing out the old app “LagetMitt” and introducing “Rubic Connect” to all our customers. This transition has not been entirely without challenges, but thanks to your patience and valuable feedback, together we have made Rubic Connect even better. The app is now a modern and robust tool that is well equipped for future needs. In 2025 we will continue to focus on improving and developing Rubic Connect to make sure the app becomes an even more integrated part of your everyday life.
As we have said before: “We have started a new era at Rubic!”. LagetMitt has now been shut down after 10 years of service, and Rubic Connect, together with Rubic Aktivitet and Lokasjon, is better equipped to meet future demands for technology and development.
We encourage anyone who is still experiencing problems with the new app to get in touch with us. Working together is the way to get even better!
News and features This year we have also launched several exciting new features that make everyday life simpler for clubs and event organisers. Public booking is a new feature that makes it easy to rent out premises, pitches and halls, while taking payment directly through the system. Combined with lock control, this makes for a smooth and efficient club routine. We have also launched Rubic Organizer, an upgraded and modern version of our previous event staff system. Rubic Organizer makes organising events even easier, and we encourage everyone to take a look at the new tool. We have also introduced a new accreditation system, developed as a separate module. This system is adapted to all types of events and gives users flexible solutions.
2025 – a championship year! The coming year features several major events where Rubic plays an important role:
- The World Handball Championship in January.
- The Nordic World Ski Championships Trondheim 2025 – a celebration for everyone that we look forward to contributing to.
- European Athletics U23 Championships in Bergen.
- The World Weightlifting Championships in Førde.
We are also proud to have stepped into the festival world and would like to welcome our new customers Øyafestivalen and Palmesus to the Rubic family!
New customers in 2024 The Rubic family has grown considerably this year. Among others, we have welcomed:
- Asker Skiklubb – a large, multi-sport club focused on both grassroots and elite sport.
- Haugerud IF – known for its commitment to the local community.
- Sandar IL and IL Jutul – both major contributors to their local communities.
- Norsk Amatørteaterforbund – an umbrella organisation with no fewer than 120 sub-organisations.
- And many more!
We look forward to developing our partnership with all of you further!
Our focus for the future In 2025 we will have a strong focus on:
- Further development of Rubic Connect. Early in the new year, an improved view of the facility calendar is coming to the app.
- Launch of a new referee module.
- Modernisation of the current “Rubic Påmelding”
- Introduction of Rubic Regnskap – to make accounting easier than ever.
Our main goal is to help strengthen Norway's associations, sports clubs and event organisers with solutions that make their everyday life simpler and more efficient.
