Communicating with members

Most sports clubs use social media, and it is perfectly normal for communication to go through an app on your phone. But this information stays in a closed group and is only visible to the players and coaching staff of the team in question. The general manager and the club as a whole do not know what information is out there or what is being discussed. There is zero control over information. Rubic's member register, together with the LagetMitt activity app, gives you an overview.

Communication in every direction

Rubic Medlem is the foundation of all Rubic's modules. With member information firmly anchored at the base, you can add modules that suit the club's needs. Names, contact details, team information and all other important information are neatly listed. The club administrator, the general manager and those with access can communicate with everyone. Among other things, these lists are used to send out the membership fee and other club information.

Communication within each team is important day to day. Messages about training sessions and matches – day, time and place. The LagetMitt activity app takes care of this. The app is integrated with Rubic Medlem at its core. The club administrator creates all the teams and adds players and coaching staff where they belong. This gives each team its own small community where they can talk about things relevant to the team. It is the coach's and team manager's job to make sure the information about their own team is correct. They make edits in the app. And the brilliant thing is that when the information is updated in one place, it is updated everywhere it appears.

A steady and solid system

The football clubs in Lillehammer have started using Rubic and have found what they were looking for: a steady and solid system that makes it easy to communicate with coaches, parents and members. With just over 600 active footballers, LFK, Lillehammer fotballklubb, is one of the largest football clubs in the Innlandet region. LKFK, Lillehammer Kvinnefotballklubb, has just over 350 active players. Communication between coaches, team managers and parents goes through LagetMitt.

– The app is very easy to navigate, especially when you have several children, explains Åse Marita Høitomt, general manager of LKFK. You see all your children's activities in one and the same activity list. Some children may be on several teams, such as a town team and a village team, or there may be a girl who plays on both a boys' team and a girls' team. Then you have everything in one place.

If you have children who do several sports, the information is synchronised between the clubs, as long as both sports clubs use Rubic.

– In Lillehammer, most of the sports clubs use Rubic. That is a big advantage, and we notice that parents and guardians are very familiar with how LagetMitt works. Rubic is a supplier we trust, says Eirik Torbjørnsen, general manager of LFK, Lillehammer fotballklubb.
