Strengthening Rubic further and taking the next step with a new general manager

Membership system for associations and event organisers

Pål Bergersen took up the position of general manager at Rubic on 1 November.

– We are very pleased that Pål Bergersen accepted the offer to join the Rubic team. I am sure that customers and partners of Rubic AS will quickly notice that we have strengthened ourselves going forward. Anders Retterås and Rune Solholm Bakken will continue in dedicated roles in technology, marketing and delivery – Johan Søbstad, Chairman of the Board, Rubic AS.

Rubic – An exciting opportunity

Pål Bergersen has long and broad digital experience, including from IBM and as a long-standing manager at Norsk Tipping.

– I am looking forward to helping develop this further. Friendly, humble and skilled people – with an exciting product and good values. I am now bringing my previous experience into a company with ambitions. Rubic works to make everyday life easier for sports clubs, associations, event organisers and everyone involved in volunteering – a fine and rewarding task.

Simplifying and streamlining voluntary work

A commitment to the local, regional and national community underpins all voluntary work. The nearly one thousand associations, sports clubs and event organisers already in Rubic's customer base provide a good starting point for further growth, not least because there is constant close dialogue with customers and continuous improvement of the system based on their wishes and needs.

– Together with our customers and users, we will create outstanding user experiences that ensure the best solutions for the voluntary sector. Everything is in place for us to keep creating new and better services that make everyday life easier for volunteers, athletes, coaching staff and administrators alike. Our goal is to make everything more efficient, so that everyone involved gets more time for activity. We take pride in achieving that.

Contributing to growth in Innlandet

Rubic has customers and users all over the country, with its head office in Innlandet, where Bergersen is also based – and, not least, is passionate about.

– We have more than a thousand people commuting to Oslo every day, which I see as a lost opportunity that we need to do something about. Innlandet is attractive and growing, and we want to be part of that. I hope and believe that we here at Rubic can contribute several new and exciting jobs in an innovative and exciting working environment.
