Rubic was started with one main goal: to make everyday life easier for teams and associations. Today, Rubic is a complete membership system that lets management and administration in associations and sports clubs, coaches, membership officers, members and parents spend their time on what matters. But to tell the story, we have to go right back to the beginning.
Would you like your sports club to start using Rubic? Or perhaps you lead an association or a voluntary organisation that needs a system for organising rehearsals, gatherings, registrations and member registers? For many, replacing an old system with a new one can be a big transition. We at Rubic fully understand that. To make the decision easier and help nervous general managers and secretaries general sleep better at night, we answer some of the most common questions.
Is Rubic approved by NIF?
Yes, Rubic is a member register approved by the Norwegian Confederation of Sports (NIF). All Norwegian sports clubs must use a digital member register approved by NIF so that the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs has an overview of all members. You can safely choose Rubic, as we meet this requirement.
Is Rubic connected to NIF’s systems?
Yes, Rubic has an NIF-approved integration for coordinated reporting. This means that switching to Rubic won’t pose any challenges for you and your sports club.
Can Rubic be connected to FIKS?
Yes, you can connect to FIKS through our app, LagetMitt.
Does Rubic include a payment solution?
Yes, you can both send invoices and pay bills in Rubic’s system. It is easy to get an overview of who has paid and who has outstanding amounts. In addition, each individual member can keep track of their own bills via the app or on a PC. Invoices and payment reminders can be sent manually or automatically, whichever suits you best.
Can you communicate by email and text message?
Yes, you can. We know that communication with members, parents, administration and management is absolutely essential for everyone to have a good experience of the organisation. That is why Rubic makes it easy to send relevant information to one person, a few or many. It is easy to create filters and groups so that you have an overview of who should receive which information. You can also send push notifications to everyone who uses LagetMitt, for example to remind them about training sessions or notify them of new training times.
Can Rubic be used to keep an up-to-date member register?
Yes, Rubic gives you a member register that is always up to date. When a team manager or coach registers a new player on their team, he or she is automatically registered as a member of the club, without any further administration. As long as the registration is done correctly, names are spelled correctly, and you are consistent in the use of any middle names, there is also no risk of duplicates.
